Sustainable Tring – Accounts for 2023-2024

Our accounts are compiled according to the financial year, ending on 5 April. In the year 2023 to 2024 the general account benefitted from £780 income generated by the Repair Café. The general account covered tech. costs (website, etc) of £288, community garden expenditure of £567, insurance at £291 and various other minor costs. In addition, £100 was donated, via the energy group, to support Sustainable Wigginton, which came under the 'umbrella’ of Sustainable Tring during the year. The energy group raised £390 from thermal imaging donations. The group invested £82 in energy meters for Tring Library to lend to local households and updated its thermal imaging software at a cost of £157. The Apple Fayre account holds £462 to be used in connection with this annual autumn community event. Nothing was spent during the last financial year.

The Repair Café generated £2145 in donations; £756 was spent on hall hire and £600 donated tolocal charities. After transfer of £780 to support the general aims of Sustainable Tring, this left the Café account with a balance of just £8 more than at the start of the accounting year. Sustainable Tring opened the year with a total balance of £1692 and closed with a total of £1454.
