Proven cuts to household emissions

Solar panels are a proven way to cut household emissions, yet uptake remains relatively low in our local area.

3.1% Dacorum homes have PVs

In Dacorum Borough 3.1% of homes have PVs (March 2026 data), a low uptake compared with national picture where 5.7% of homes have solar panels (ONS, 2025).

About 200 Tring properties with solar panels

In Tring there are about 200 properties with solar panels - almost 4% - but we’d love that number to increase!

As you can see from our map, many homes in Tring have already made the switch to solar energy. If you have panels but we have not marked them to the map, please let us know!

Equally, if you’re considering installing solar panels, please get in touch with us at hello@sustainabletring.org.uk so we can keep in touch.
